چکیده

The analytical solutions of the Schrödinger equation with position-dependent mass for the Morse potential are obtained by the series expansion method. The Morse potential and the position-dependent mass themselves are expanded in the series about the origin. As an example, the analytical series solutions of the Morse potential with the position-dependent mass m=m0eλr are given.  2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved. PACS: 03.65.Pm; 03.65.-w

Series Solutions of the N-Dimensional Position-Dependent Mass Schrödinger Equation with a General Class of Potentials

The analytical solutions of the N -dimensional Schrödinger equation with position-dependent mass for a general class of central potentials is obtained via the series expansion method. The position-dependent mass is expanded in series about origin. As a special case, the analytical bound-state series solutions and the recursion relation of the linear-plus-Coulomb (Cornell) potential with the dec...

Investigation of analytical and numerical solutions for one-dimensional independent-oftime Schrödinger Equation

In this paper, the numerical solution methods of one- particale, one – dimensional time- independentSchrodinger equation are presented that allows one to obtain accurate bound state eigen values andeigen functions for an arbitrary potential energy function V(x). These methods included the FEM(Finite Element Method), Cooly, Numerov and others. Here we considered the Numerov method inmore details...

Exact Solutions of the Schrödinger Equation with position-dependent effective mass via general point canonical transformation

Exact solutions of the Schrödinger equation are obtained for the Rosen-Morse and Scarf potentials with the position-dependent effective mass by appliying a general point canonical transformation. The general form of the point canonical transformation is introduced by using a free parameter. Two different forms of mass distributions are used. A set of the energy eigenvalues of the bound states a...

A new approach to the exact solutions of the effective mass Schrödinger equation

Effective mass Schrödinger equation is solved exactly for a given potential. NikiforovUvarov method is used to obtain energy eigenvalues and the corresponding wave functions. A free parameter is used in the transformation of the wave function. The effective mass Schrödinger equation is also solved for the Morse potential transforming to the constant mass Schrödinger equation for a potential. On...

A New Modification of Morse Potential Energy Function

Interaction of meso — tetrakis (p-sulphonato phenyl) porphyrin (hereafter abbreviated to TSPP)with Na+ has been examined using HF level of theory with 6-31G* basis set. Counterpoise (CP)correction has been used to show the extent of the basis set superposition error (BSSE) on thepotential energy curves. The numbers of Na+ have a significant effect on the calculated potentialenergy curve (includ...
